Postby niewheall » Fri Feb 11, 2011 10:21 am

1. 5 1/2% tax on $20 is $__ . I got $1.1

2. A 30% discount on $47.50 is $__ I got $33.25

3. The price of an item selling at 150% of its $63 value is $__. I got 94.3

It says all my answers are wrong and I need to round to the nearest cent. How do I do that?

The first one is right - $1.10
The second one should be the discount, not the resulting price, so it should be $14.25
The third one is $94.50
