If my tax return was accepted by the IRS on February 15th when can I expect my refund?

I was one of those millions of people who were delayed in filing taxes until February 14th because I had itemized deductions. My return was accepted on the 15th, does anyone have any idea when the refunds are being sent out?

The refund chart "claims" for returns filed Feb 10 and Feb 17, 2011 you get your refund on Feb 25, 2011 for direct deposit or Mar 4, 2011for a paper check.

Am I the only person having a hard time believing they'll stick to these dates?? It would be nice, but, I am rather doubtful. What's your opinion?

If you e-filed then it'll be given in 10-14 days. If you mailed it in then it will take 3-4 weeks.

95% get their refunds on the date specified.

The chart is just a yardstick. Wait a few days and then check the "WMR" function. That will provide the best information.

At least you could e-file. I had to paper file mine because of our adoption tax credit this year.

I say to expect the worst and if the best scenario works out, great.

I know a LOT of early filers were delayed (especially turbo tax users), and the volume of "WHERE'S MY REFUND?!?" questions have definitely slowed down...so here's to us both getting our refunds in a timely manner!
