I filed my taxes through Turbo Tax and live in North Carolina. Does anyone know when they will start accepting efile?

They should start E-filing them on January-16th. Thats when you should have e-filed them. But since they passed the new tax deduction law which helps you get more money, they should start e-filing them in Mid-february. But thats is for idemized deductions. If you do standard deductions, you can start e-filing them right away

On the Turbo Tax website it says that the NC main form will be ready to efile on the 26th.

I don't know what the H&R Block person was talking about - they were not accepting them on the 16th. I think Turbo Tax is staying with the 26th, not sure why it's so late this year but according to TT you won't be allowed to e-file till January 26th :(
