Most local taxes are paid through a sales tax placed on goods that sell at retail stores, restaurants and fast food places, or services offered through a vendor such as a real estate agent, notary public or attorney that offer services.

Other local taxes are collected through the county real estate taxes charged each year, but paid semi-annually in most counties.

As far as you paying an actual local tax normally these are the avenues you would pay this local tax.

I hope this has been of some benefit to you, good luck.
